Job Description

A prestigious national law firm is seeking a highly organized and proactive Legal Assistant/Paralegal to support the Business & Commercial Litigation group in its Century City office. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing practice and work closely with attorneys handling complex commercial litigation and transactional matters. Key Responsibilities:

  • Support attorneys with complex commercial litigation matters, including preparation for trials, depositions, and transactional projects.
  • Draft, prepare, and e-file pleadings and legal documents in accordance with State and Federal court rules.
  • Manage attorney calendars, track court deadlines, coordinate meetings, and ensure timely case progression.
  • Assist with document review, organization, and production, including maintaining case files and supporting discovery efforts.
  • Coordinate trial and deposition logistics, including preparation of exhibits, binders, witness materials, and vendor management.
  • Handle client intake, correspondence, and administrative support, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of all information.
  • Track and record billable and non-billable time while supporting overall case and practice group operations.
  • Paralegal Certificate or Declaration required.
